Broken household, all other households open in CAS except this one

I've noticed in my game that all my households are playable/are editable in CAS except for one household which inconveniently is the one I play the most - I get stuck on the loading screen of doom and have tried to open it from the world select, from a wardrobe or chest, or by splitting one sim off into a new household but it doesn't seem to fix it. I've got CC and mods, however I've filed through all of them and updated everything or deleted ones that haven't got a recent update. Unsure of what to do to bypass this :/
