Hi, none of my mods are broken from what I have seen, but after adding them to my mods folder my game wont even load. What can I do? Is it because I am on a Mac? I have spent so much time on my mods, but they never want to work once I reach a certain amount. Is there anything I can do? I am about to just stop playing.
consmity If your game won't load, you might have installed broken mods. Start at Previously Broken mods and CC and the current patch's pinned Broken and Updated Mods and CC thread.
See How to Use Mods and CC for info about how to avoid download broken mods (and compromised ones!) and how to test your Mods folder to find them there if you still have issues after using the list. Not all mods are listed anywhere. None of us who have such lists will tell you about mods by people who paywall them, or who pirate the game, etc. So you need to use 50-50 testing as well.
If even one newly downloaded CC item breaks your game (I use peacemaker's mods for this testing as I know none are broken), with no other mods or CC at all, please let me know.
