Finally, clearing of mods does NOT guarantee that they work: a creator may have missed an issue.

New Bugfix-Type Mod

• Temporary EA Hotfix - Scripted Menus Not Showing – TwistedMexi – For Simmers who are not using Better Exceptions, this deals with a code change that “breaks mods that try to dynamically show menus in-game.” This tool is built into today’s updated Better Exceptions. NOTE: This is not the only thing that could be broken about many outdated mods, so it will not fix them all; please back up your Saves folder before relying on it.

NOT a Mod Problem

• Customer-service NPCs (such as bartenders, librarians) not spawning at venues and not hirable and you own Get Famous. This is not caused by mods. It’s a bug that occurs when “Sims Begin Opted Out of Fame” is selected in Gameplay Options. WORKAROUND: Untick the box, load the venue to let the NPC generate at their workplace, then you can tick the box again.
