ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW FEATURES
New features here are to help you avoid obvious fakes and to help you decide if you feel fine with the risk level of a mod reported updated. This is also a work in progress based and may be revised based on feedback from you about the info you need. NOTE: I’ve not yet revised the “Cleared” list; that will start at a later patch.
New List Features
- Core and Injector Mods list: Some script mods don’t include the script file but use a dependency .ts4script file — these are “core mods” or “injector mods.” Common ones are now listed here with info about the current version.
- Translations (transl.) and minor updates: Translation-only updates of English-language gameplay mods are now announced, and those plus minor gameplay mod updates are now included on the collected “Updated” list. This will reduce how often you run across unlisted updates from gameplay mod creators you know are normally listed here. I’m not adding updates of separate translated mods; this should be done only by someone who can understand the accompanying posts.
- Upload sites: “Updated” now includes the site(s) the creator themselves uploads to. Don’t download from other sites.
- Upload/file date: “Updated” now includes the date of the update.
- (S) for “script”: This is a script mod, and is meant to have a .ts4script file. If a mod is NOT listed with (S) but has a .ts4script file, do not install it; report it instead.

Updates to “How to Use Mods and CC”
The pinned post How to Use Mods and CC has been updated with more detailed advice for “Safe Simming” and with related advice for creators on best practices.

(Note: This does not apply to mods that raise the game rating, e.g., for nudity or violence.) If you have questions about using the list, that’s a good place for those, too.
