I don't believe that's correct about Sims 4 Studio being broken in regards to extracting the tuning files. I'm extracting the tuning right now as I type this and everything seems to be working correctly on my end.

ETA: I just saw Scarlet's tweet about this and this is not my experience. The files are all where they should be for me.
