I suspect it's a bit of both. For a few years now they've been working hard on *not* breaking CC, so at the Maxis end, they're probably looking for a fix. So far, what CC creators can do is a bit of a temporary fix. (See the info quoted on p. 1 about what to do in Sims 4 Studio.)
Alright thank you. My favorite hairstyles are from a Sims Resource creator but it's sad I can't use them right now. I hope the SimsGurus can fix it because a lot of creators have a lot of CC. It would be a lot of work to adjust each one. But I'm glad SimGurus are looking into it. Hopefully they can fix it soon and I'll just keep a close eye on this topic.
