Shira Have you tried using ts4 package conflict detector?
modthesims.info/d/572482/ts4-package-conflict-detector-windows-only.html

Take out all careers and any scripts that have not been updated since the new get famous including WW. Remove whatever career or school thing it is mentioning in your exceptions file too.

Failing all that try the 50/50 method..
