Buggy residential rental lot

Is anyone else finding living in a rented house to be really laggy and buggy in ts4? I wanted to have my sims extended family live with her in terraced houses but they just keep standing there - not doing anything. I’ve tried: disabling mods, lowering graphics, repairing my game, moving them all to a different save, marking the other 2 units as unplayed but nothing has worked!

  • @Daisyy25 If your lag isn't mod related, I'd suggest trying to have fewer interactable objects on the lot in the common area. There are likely other lag causes, and we're looking at some of those in Bug Reports. Please do head over there to share what your lot is like (how many units, for example) and when the lag occurs!

  • Hi @Daisyy25 When you tested mods, did you remove the folder completely and delete localthumbcache? If not, could you do that, please? Disabling mods won't remove the effect all of them have.

Hi, I removed all my mods, and deleted what you said but they are still doing it. Going to try moving the units to a different lot but I don’t have much hope.

So I’ve reduced the “shared” areas that my sims had and this has seemed to fix the issue!
