Build mode glitches

When in build mode, I'm getting multiple different glitches. When I select an item to place, it will delete before I get a chance to replace it. Whenever I try to pick something up to move, it will delete the item. I hit undo to get the item back, and it works for a second, but then it re-does the action and deletes the item. It makes the game un-playable
