button

hey, so i've been trying to play sims 4 for a while but ever since the new update, I've been having trouble with the buttons of the game. For example, I'd have to go in between 2 buttons in order to get the button I want to work (basically, it's delayed) so I was wondering about how I'm able to fix that...

    @50512556 Do you have mods installed?
    If yes, remove all mods out of the Mods folder, then delete the file "localthumbcache.package" and try again.

    @50512556  Are you saying you need to click below the button you want to use in order to get it to respond?  If not, where do you click, relative to the button, to get a response?  Does your computer run Windows or macOS?
