Can’t get my Sim a Job!!

Hello! 

So, I have a save with my sim, and she used to have a CC career. HOWEVER, that mod broke and I had removed it, and now when we I try to get her a job, she just resets!! I used MC command center to give her a random career and it said it “couldn’t find any jobs she hasn’t had,” which makes no sense since she was only in the CC one. I tried it in a different save and I was able to get a random sim a job (I haven’t tested a different sim in the save with the broken sim, I will do that). I don’t know what to do!! Please help!!
