Can’t see apparent fire

I’m so confused. My sims are panicking and it says there’s a fire. There is no fire anywhere. This is the second time this has happened. After the first time, the next day I had moved the couch and saw black ash on the floor. I completely forgot to get them to clean it but today it says there’s a fire again and I go back to that same spot to see if it’s the couch but the same pile from the last time is just there, nothing new. The couch isn’t on fire and it wasn’t last time. I even tried clicking on it to see if it would give me the option to replace it but nothing comes up. I can still use the couch like normal. I don’t have a basement built or anything either so it’s not coming from under the house. I have no idea what is catching fire. I’m attaching photos to show you what I see in the living room. I’m guessing this time it’s the same spot as last time but I haven’t been able to fix whatever caused it because i don’t know. The fireplace is fine, it didn’t catch anything on fire so I don’t get it
