Cannot make sims parents even in full edit mode

I have a save file in my game. I made a bunch of familes and have been able to swap sims to make my sims the child of or brother of another family. Reccently I have not been able to do that which ...

@CBWriter22 Can you also not change anything if you put them in the gallery and redownload to CAS ?

I have tried to reupload both sets of the family to the gallery and nothing is working. I've also tried repairing my game and that did nothing as well. I don't know what to do at all, I'm annoyed that this is even an issue and I know I'm not the only person whoes had this happen in their game.

    @CBWriter22 Do you still have them in the gallery ? If so, what's the name ?

      They are still on the gallery under The Vallamin's and The Vallamin-Grayham's

        From your descriptions I gather you want to make the two households related ?
