If I rent a vacation rental unit, my sim is unable to enter the property. It does not show me anything inside the property. When I click the door, it just prompts "lock for".I have no mods or cc and I have repaired the game and nothing seems to work.

@crinrict So I ended up just saving my household and starting a new save and vacations work now as they should ! Thank you for your help

@gl0riapie Did you rent the place through the vacation interface ?

@gl0riapie have you tried multiple vacation lots and also a new save to see if it works there for testing ?

@crinrict i created a new save and i can enter vacation homes fine. how do i fix my current save so i am able to enter vacation homes with my legacy?

@gl0riapie If you enter them in build mode, do they properly show as rentals ? Is it the same for all rental lots or only some ?

@crinrict If I enter into build mode I can see everything in the house and edit and such. However as soon as I switch to live view I can’t see anything. It is happening with all rental units

@gl0riapie I'll take a look asap.

EDIT: It looks like it's not the rental units that are the issue but the whole vacation system is broken on that save. Sims aren't considered on vacation when you send them. They have non of the usual interactions and it's not in the calendar either, it's like they just travel to the lot without being on vacation.

Since it's not a particular Sim that has the issue, it's a bit hard to tell what's going on. Do you have any other backups ?

@crinrict not really :/ if i created a new sim/save in the same world and joined households would that fix the problem? or possibly restore an old save?
