Cant pay bills sims 4. Also missing other options on almost all appliances

I had the base Sims 4 and never had an option to pay bills, lights keep getting shut off. I searched for a couple of days, tried everything i saw (listed below) and still nothing. I bought the expans...

hi @beee_ford Do you play with any added content in the Mods folder?

Another thing to do is to refresh your gameplay folder: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4, reset your Options how you like them, and start a New Game to see if the issues have cleared.
