Cant travel in horse ranch expansion

I don't have any mods installed on my laptop and I am having issues with the Horse Ranch expansion not allowing me to travel to anywhere except other houses. I cant travel to buy horses or to the bar...

    The big equestrian center is not a lot. You're not supposed to be able to travel to it directly - you travel to the park lot with the public stables next to it. After renaming the folder and starting a new save, were you able to travel everywhere else?

I'm playing through EA on a laptop. - And Im talking about when I created the sims in the beginning of the new game- they didnt save in game correctly whe nI started in the world and put them in a house

Try if a repair does anyhting.
