cas issues
I am currently doing a modded version of the 100 baby challenge and am having an issue with cas and my toddlers. I currently have a household of 18 sims (using mccc to expand the household allowance) and had been having no trouble for a few days. Today and time i enter cas to modify a toddler specifically and then exit to resume gameplay it kicks me back to world select. I have a crud ton of mods and cc but I am a neat freak and cannot not update my mods when Scarlet's Realm tells me to. I need to know if it is a mod and I just missed it, is a cas item and can't play with it installed anymore, or if this is just a game bug. It is driving me absolutely bonkers and I am begging for someone out there with more knowledge than me to offer a helping hand here.
More info: I play on a 2022 macbook pro that i bought in 2022 brand new, I have removed mods that haven't been updated since the patch that wreaked havoc on mods with Adventure Awaits, I have automatic updated turned on on the EA app, I dont use pirated content if I have it downloaded I paid for it, my cc is organized by creator and if its build/buy or CAS, my mods are not organized since most can only be one or two folders deep, I check Scarlet's realm probably every day to see any news or updated mods that I don't already know about.
When you say, "but I am a neat freak and cannot not update my mods when Scarlet's Realm tells me to", what do you mean by that? Are you sure all your mods are up to date? How are you going into CAS for sims in this household? Remember that you have to do it a specific way with MCCC, otherwise the game will delete any sims that exceed the normal limit of 8.
I'd say you should check if the issue happens even in households with 8 or fewer sims. If you don't have Better Exceptions by TwistedMexi, I recommend you get it, especially since you play with so many mods. It may help you figure out what's causing your issue. But if all your mods are up to date, be prepared to do the 50/50 method.
