Since the 19th Aug 2025 update, I am not able to load my main household. 
I have checked other household, they are loading fine. 

I do use mods. I removed it and then I updated the game, then put it back. Everything seems okay, I was able to play for about 4 hours in the evening. The next day is when I have the problem.

I did not have a problem with CAS but when I try to load to one particular household it does not work. It finishes the loading music but does not go out of the plumbob loading screen. 

Things I have done to try and fix it but still DIDNT WORK

  • Remove all my mods and reload it 
  • Repairing game
  • Uninstall and reinstall it
  • Delete cache files
  • Delete UserSetting (as seen in LilSimsie's video)
  • I tried to load 1 household, add my main household via cheats, when I try to reload it, still faces the same issue

I really really hope this issue gets fixed, I really love this save file and I don't think I have it in me to start over (dramatic, I know lol).

msnijder30​  From what I've heard, you should be able to remove the milestone fix mod once you save your progress with it present.

The reason for this error, the one that the mod fixes, is that when a sim achieves a milestone, some data references what object they used to do so, for example a playmat.  If the object is custom content, and you remove the cc, you won't be able to load that household.  So you could also just put back your cc objects to fix the problem.

And to be clear, it's not that you need to keep the item on the lot.  The point is that the game has to load the object in general, like in the Build/Buy catalog.
