Hello
When there is a game patch, cc and mods are disabled automatically. This link explains about that

Many simmers though also move their mods/cc from their mods folder before updating the game.
After the patch has been released, usually luthienrising sets up a thread in this mods and cc section of the forums, where simmers post about mods /cc that have been broken by the patch.
It can be best to hold off putting back mods until the mod creator posts that it is okay with the patch or if there is a new version to install.
With cc items, sometimes it can be a widespread issue that breaks all the particular types of cc. When this occurs, Sims 4 Studio tool creators often create a batch fix that you can run to fix your cc.

It is a good idea to install the sims 4 Studio program tool. It is very helpful also in managing custom content .
