[CC BED RELATED] Beds disappear in build/buy bug

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? High school years, cottage living, snowy escape, get famous, get to work, get together, city living, cats and dogs, seasons, discover university, eco life style, island living, werewolves, vampires, jungle. dine out, outdoor retreat, parenthood, realm of magic, spa day, backyard stuff, bowling night stuff, kids room stuff, laundry day stuff, movie hangout stuff, my first pet stuff, spooky stuff, tiny living.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? adding a double bed on lot a couple of times. I did this cause I noticed my cc beds didn't work so I kept re adding to see which ones did and didn't work. I guess now it affected the game's own beds itself and they're doing the same thing.
What happens when the bug occurs? once the bed is spawned it disappears
What do you expect to see? a bed placed visibly on the lot

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? yes, my mods have all be updated and as far as the only thing that isn't working is my cc beds, however now its affected the game's beds.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? it happened after I downloaded high school years

All cc bed need updating. They cause all kinds of issues. Please remove them from your game.

This issue can occur even if you use an EA bed while having cc beds in your game

S4Studio has a batch fix now and some cc creators have updated their beds.

After I bought High Scool Pack, I cannot place any bed (Not CC) in to my house. It keeps disappear and I try to use my pointer to find it but I cannot find.
I don't know it's a new bug or known bug. Please help me.
My computer is Windows 10 with the latest update.

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

It's not CC Bed. So, I don't know why do I need to remove mods.
But When I exit to the world and go back to my house. The bed is came back.

@thsecmaniac I'm having the same problem and cannot find a way to fix it without losing all my cc so I'm redownloading everything. Hope you find a better solution.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Choose any bed, then the placement of the bed in the bedroom.
What happens when the bug occurs? Placement of the bed in the bedroom, then the bed does not show or is missing.
What do you expect to see? The bed must show or not disappear after the placement of the bed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

Undo or Redo too, the bed doesn't show after selecting Undo or Redo.

Does it happen in every house or just this one

I tried that but it was still the same.
Yes, it happens in every home except just this one.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)

Tray Folder

Screenshots/Videos/Custom music

Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)

Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....

ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.

~~Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)~~

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
