@rosemow I'm a little (okay a LOT) concerned about these "disappearing cc folders" messages, because I was told by a SimGuru (SGMS ID so not sure who that is, exactly) that we DO NOT have to ever remove our mods between updates, because the game update/repair routines are not supposed to touch (or even look at) those files anyway, just the ones in the actual PROGRAM folder (Not Documents stuff).
Would you mind, since you've seen this more than I have (I'm sure), to ask SGMS (etc) why some simmers are having vanishing folder issues? And if they could give us a clue about where those torpedoed files end up post-update/repair, that also would be sweet.
How to avoid it, how to fix it... anything.
