[CC RELATED] Sims won’t eat since update

Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? The latest
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them expect Toddler stuff pack and Journey to Batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Ask sims to grab food from a fridge or grab coffee from a coffee machine
What happens when the bug occurs? The food ends up on the floor and coffee is back in the coffee machine
What do you expect to see? Sims performing actions as usual
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

Hi there!

After the latest patch my sims can't eat food! They can grab it from the fridge and the put it on the floor. Similar thing is happening with the grab coffee. 

I have tried repairing the game, I disabled mods, but it keeps happening! Before the update I noticed a glitch just in one household, where nobody could put food back into the fridge, like there was an obstacle or smth. 

Is anyone having the same glitch? Please help!

I keep trying to get my sims to eat something, but they just glitch and reset as if I never told them to do anything. The sims are able to eat when they themselves want to, but that isn't controllable. I have tried repairing the game which did not work and I don't have mods installed. However I do have cc furniture. Does anyone know what to do?

I am having the same problem. I just keep making them do the action until it works

Also, I had a cheerleader try to go to practice and my game crashed

Replaced my CC beds and moved out/in and it seems to be working fine now. I am not sure which action did the trick, but judging by other replies it was probably the CC bed

More specifically, Sims under my control will not eat upon command.  They will eat autonomously; they will eat school lunch. I do have cc and mods
