CC/Sims 4 Game play Synergy
**Warning** Rhetorical Rant/Wishful Thinking
I wish there was a way for Sims 4 developers to integrate CC mods with the game for a more seamless gaming experience. The cc mods make a world of difference in terms of creating an authentic gaming experience. Whether it's being able to order groceries, adding an elevator to your residential lot, adding a spiral staircase, enhanced gameplay dialogue, cc vehicles, clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc., the game is boring without all these enhancements if I'm being honest. I own 95% of the expansion, stuff, and gameplay packs, yet I still don't get a maximized experience unless I'm utilizing cc mods. The task of having to monitor my mods to ensure updates don't interrupt gameplay is BEYOND FRUSTRATING. Despite everything I have invested, I still come so close to saying 'screw it' every time this happens. It takes so much effort to monitor this, it makes me question if it's worth it to continue supporting the brand. Instead of creating Sims 5, I would rather Sims creators focus on having more synergy among mod creators so paying customers don't have to continue to take on the burden of troubleshooting this game every time developers update it. Put these people on payroll or something. Make it make sense. I'm so tired of dealing with this. I purchased Sims 4 Rent, and was honestly really excited about playing it only for it to have major glitches that prevented gameplay altogether. I had it for at least a month before I gathered the mental strength needed to troubleshoot once again to get the game to work with my mods. Now that I figured out how to fix it, I ran into yet another issue that is impacting my ability to play the game. I am supposed to be able to convert any lot (except a few) into a residential rental lot. I can only convert lots in San Sequoia and Tomarang. Wtf?! Also, there's some sort of glitch happening that causes the game screen to be pixelated. I researched how to fix it, and of course, I have to sift through my mods, delete/remove them, and that should resolve the issue. I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO CONTINUE DOING THAT. The whole point of downloading the mods is b/c the base game is boring aF without them. This game has been out far too long for developers (or whoever is to blame) to STILL be behind in providing users with the most innovative and authentic gaming experience. Even the Stuff packs pale in comparison to custom content. You keep missing the mark, and if you're not keen on bridging the gap between mod creators and Sims developers why should we continue to support this brand??? You could at least try to take your content development cues based on what cc mod developers are creating. Excuse my rhetorical rant, but I am so disappointed and I am starting to feel used. I wish another game compared to this level of simulation so you would at least have some sort of competition, and users would have an alternative to rely on when one game is failing its fan base. I've had this game since the original Sims hit the market years ago. I've been faithful ever since. It would be nice to get a reasonable return on my investment (without having to forego my cc mods), or perhaps that's unrealistic or too much to ask.
Give me a viable solution with simple steps, and I will remove this rant, lol
