@edpitts For the bugs you're experiencing, please search Bug Reports for each specific bug. If you have a specific bug you don't see a report for, post a new topic just for that one bug, but you do need to test without your Mods folder first. See "Testing Vanilla" in the How to Use Mods and CC topic pinned in this forum.
For automated CC/mod updates, Maxis has partnered with Curseforge. If you choose to use the Curseforge tool, it will update Curseforge-hosted mods for you. Note that you still need to deal with removing broken mods yourself. For that sort of issue, Maxis has given me space here, on its official support orums, to report on Broken/Updated Mods . These reports are temporarily delayed — I hope for not much longer — while I revise the system to provide more information to Simmers after the last few weeks' malicious script mods issue.
