Certain game progression gone.
Before I saved my game, I had added a Christmas tree to my house, had my sim manually decorate it, and continued playing for another sim day. I decided to change one of my settings, requiring me to restart my game. When I started my game up again, everything was fine except the Christmas tree I put was missing, my household cat was missing as if I had never adopted him, and some progression of my game has disappeared. The thumbnail of my save is the way it's supposed to be, as well as the thumbnail of my apartment shows the Christmas tree, but my cat is no longer in my household, and the Christmas tree is like I never put it up. What can I do?
