I'm using obscurus unlocked sliders for kids and whenever i try to save the edits i make to my child sims the results doesn't save and it reverts back to vanilla. does anyone know if this a current bug or incompatibility? my game also doesn't save any preset body changes.
DoublePlusBon They can't be updated. The change has to be on EA's side. There's a good chance that won't happen: there was a game bug with their appearance before this.

simkonfetti If there were an easy solution, I think we'd have started to see it applied to the child presets by now. I suspect that any that can be fixed have been.
But weren't some presets fixed by putting them into the ear category? I wonder if that is a possibility.
giggxkie simkonfetti My understanding from what preset/Child height modders have indicated is that they don't expect a change on EA's side that would enable these to work again. EA was fixing bugs with child appearance and isn't going to unfix those bugs.

DoublePlusBon Mods not working isn't a game bug. Modders know that EA isn't responsible for keeping mods working. They're responsible for the game in its mod-free state. There's no current game bug associated with child and younger body shape and sliders. There was one, but it appears that making the game work mod-free meant that this type of mod no longer works.
Is EA aware of this critical issue ? This bug is not « under investigation », why ?
There are too many bugs with the sims appearance and this one is extremely upsetting. Why don’t they fix it if we can’t fix the bug by ourselves ?
