Some older reports indicated that at various points, Children didn't complete cooking tasks. The creator confirmed it's broken after the most recent patch, but without details.
same thing happens for me only with my *adult mod* or one of the mods i got idk why i think its *adult mod*👮
@waveyhamzaTo identify which specific mod is causing a problem, move all the other mods to another location (a folder on your desktop is an easy option), delete the file called localthumbcache, and try out in game. Don't save.

@luthienrising Could you please give a link to update of Immersive Social Bunny – plumlace? I can't find it, only for patrons.
(And the link at the and of your posts in Broken/Obsolete and Updated Sims 4 Mods: 1.101, Sept. 26, 2023 Game Update goes to Weird tumbnail topic.)
@LoreafunYou can find the current public version on Curseforge. (And thank you! Not sure why that one is directing wrong, but I'll fix it)
Hi so I am pretty new to using mods. My sims are able to do it but they cant complete it. I am at a loss. I tried taking out the custom content beds out of the house because I read that some people had this happen and taking the beds out fixed it but that was not the case for me because they still wont complete their homework. Does anyone know of a mod that might be causing this or what could be causing this?
HI @farmgal123 You'll need to do a 50-50, unfortunately, if the mod lists don't help identify known issues that you have there. This means organizing the files there into bite-size batches and testing one batch at a time (include files mods are dependent on, typically a core or injector mod). For each test, delete the file called localthumbcache, then put only that batch in Mods. If your game behaves as you expect, set that batch aside as "cleared" and delete localthumbcache again. If it doesn't behave as you expect, take out half the batch and see if you're closer to finding the culprit. Remember to delete localthumbcache each time. You'll find some 50-50 method tutorials online too. Once you isolate the file, you can go find out if there's an updated version.
If you've got a lot of content, consider batching by creator. You might also start with stuff you acquired more recently.
I have cleared the cache, repaired the game (multiple times), reinstalled everything, but I still get these issues with the blue squares in place of the kits / new ranch pack. (If you can't see the screenshot I have included, if I go to the "kit" page (before loading a particular game), in place of the last 6 kits that have been released I have a blue box. for the unowned kits, there is just the word "Un" instead of the full "Unowned" that other kits have. The owned kits have nothing under the blue box, same as the other owned kits. I have the same blue box for the Ranch expansion pack
In the game, in build mode, I can't select any of the (blue square) kits/pack in the drop-down list (the names don't even appear for me to select), but I know that in one household, I have bought the nectar making barrel/machine.
I only really realised what was happening when I wanted to get the greenhouse kit windows in a specific build, and couldn't find them
@CeryleG If you use any mods or custom content at all, please move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. You don't need to save your progress; this is just for testing.
You're right - it seems that I have a mod that is blocking all of the recent packs/kits. I did originally remove the mods when I was first trying to test this out, but I'm sure I didn't see a change the first time round. I suppose now I need to look through all the mods to see what is doing it. When I find out, I'll put it up here for others' reference, too.
