Compatibility Between Meaningful Stories mod and Slice of Life?

I'm using very recently the meaningfull stories mod and i'm really enjoying it. I've seen a lot of talking about slice of life and thought, until now that it only changed the appearance of the sims...? I'll need to investigate it further.
