How to check if a Mod is Safe.

Ok, so I've recently become aware of the amount of malicious people who want to scam you or steal your data in the sims modding scene. (in fact I've even been accused of said action, not that I did or anything!)

So I thought I'd make this guide incase you are unsure if a mod is safe to run.

1. if you see a mod that looks sketchy, you can download it, but do NOT run it.
2. Go to VirusTotal.com and upload the file.
3. VirusTotal will run it against roughly 70 different antiviruses and will give you results.

(Note- VirusTotal is a well known and trusted website)
