Computer and mailbox not allowing me to apply my sim to university (Sims 4)

I want to apply my young adult sim to university but it’s not giving me that choice on the computer or mailbox. I have Custom Content and Mods downloaded plus I’m very new to the game so I don’t know if there’s anything else I’m missing or doing wrong.

    @skylar0626 Have you tried without mods/cc and deleted the loculthumbcache.package in your user folder? You have installed Discover University, haven't you?

    omg i'm dumb lol. i didn't know that I would need an expansion pack for that choice. i thought it came automatically with the game, but thank you!

    I am also having this issue but it’s not all sims. Just one sims. They can research and look at scholarship information but no option to apply. Everyone else has gotten degrees but this sims has not. Is there something I’m missing?

    I play on Xbox so no mods or cc. I do use Xbox cheats though. This sim in an Adult
