hello! i recently got cottage living and discover university, and on first startup after i installed the packs i noticed the computers/laptops in game don't respond for like 5 seconds after i click on it (video) i never ran into this issue before and i don't know if that's caused by broken mods/cc or another issue? my sims trying to graduate university has to use the computer a lot and this is kind of disruptive. any ideas would be appreciated! thank you!
@nn87m6tfhxe2I had this happen because of extra files in the save folder thanks to the NSFW mod made by the Lot Trait Extender author. she told me that extra folder in the save folder was safe to delete (and ONLY that folder), and it would be reconstructed when I restarted the game.
So I deleted that folder, and the computer lag was gone.
i started in a new save and the lag was significantly decreased, down to around 1 second or so. although it's not completely gone it's much more playable now. i might go through my mods again when i get the chance just to rule out any other problems. thanks!
