'Control Any Sim' alternatives?

I've recently downloaded 'Control Any Sim' by TitanNano, but it is outdated by over a year and yet one of the most useful and popular mods out there. I really want to use it, but its causing a buffer issue (my loading screens are endless). Does anyone know of any alternatives? I really want to have this feature in the game. Thanks!
