CURRENT ISSUE: many .package mods + cc not loading

LETTING EVERYONE KNOW THAT THIS WAS FULLY INTENTIONAL!!!!!!!

if you didn’t know already.. think about it. they update the game to have a market place for cc and now all of a sudden all of our already downloaded and free cc isn’t working in the game. ea is not our friend and only want one thing from players… moneyyy. they want money SOO bad from us that they’ll do malicious thing such as removing our entire cc folders to force us to pay for it. it’s absolutely ridiculous. there are players out there that tried not to update to save their game from being corrupted but later informed others that they were forced to update due to ea sending them error codes/messages. we spend hundreds on hundreds of dollars purchasing game, stuff, and expansion packs along with kits and other things just for ea to continue to be greedy. I HATE THIS COMPANY. 

The same thing happened to me. I can't load any of my households on my save file that I've spent hundreds of hours on. No one wants this stupid marketplace anyway, and they couldn't even bother to make sure the game would be playable with the update? Ridiculous. It's like they are trying to get people to stop playing the game at this point. I am so frustrated and disappointed. 

mods and cc are typically safe! its EA who causes these issues

EA is the issue, they said they are fixing it and it was "unnintentionally" so i hope it gets fixed soon! so much hard work put into a game who only cares about money😪

I have the exact same issue as well. Many CCs have disappeared from game in a sudden

Since the update I'm unable to view or purchase anything on marketplace.. just keeps asking me to connect.. I keep trying but no success

hey its been about 4 hours, could we get an update about how long this could approximately take. logging in every 30 mins to an hour isn't exactly ideal!

I believe I have less mods than most but, one is saying it exists in the folder but it is not showing up AT ALL in the game. Is this similiar for you all? 

Same problems here! I tried repairing the game, and I have mods enabled, but nothing is working. I can't even have my Sims interact with anything - when I manage to load a game, I can't click on anything except for doors.
