Ok...so somehow I got this "tunable_perf" to finally GO AWAY. Not sure if this will work for everyone, heck, I'm not sure how long it'll last for me, BUT I played my game for several minutes, had my sims do some activities with mods, and BE didn't do a scan!
Here's what I did:
1) This is now about a week after the horrid 1.105 patch, so I backed up **everything** before upgrading to it. Better safe than sorry.
2) I went through all my "must have" Gameplay mods--(WW (and animators!), ADeepIndigo, LittleMsSam, Lumpinou, CAS traits, UI Cheats; and a handful of others: Roburky, Sacrificial, thepancake, lotharihoe, etc) and made sure I could update as much as I could from them from what they have available as of last night on 3/7/24. (Mind you, this took a few hours and I had time. Also, God bless all the incredible modders & content creators out there, seriously, I wouldn't even bother doing this if it weren't for their awesome mods)
3) When I kept getting the tunable_perf error, I uploaded my most recent BE-ExceptionsReport.html to TwistedMexi's discord to get rid of whatever junk I was missing thanks to their autobots that does this in an instant.
4) When I STILL kept getting the error, I tried the 50/50 method, which kinda got me nowhere but more irritated...until I realized I kept seeing (when researching if I can downgrade an EA patch 😭) that this patch affects "script" mods. Then I saw an old reddit post about gathering all your script mods and updating them, specifically.
SO...I went to my mods folder, went to the search bar and typed in ".ts4script" and **ANY SCRIPT FILE that did not have today's or yesterday's date (3/6/24 or 3/7/24-from what I recently updated) I moved into another folder** and labeled it "Mods that need March Update"
I started the game and low and behold the "Tunable_perf' error went away! I'm still playing the game and it seems fine, however I will say ***I SAVED MY GAME INTO ANOTHER SAVE SLOT JUST IN CASE UNTIL ALL MY MODS ARE UPDATED***
This is just a quick fix so I can play whilst patiently waiting.
Attached is a screenshot of what script files I removed from my Mods folder--that have yet to be updated as far as I know--as well as everything I have from Ravasheen and the Control any Sim mod from TitanNano.
I really hope this helps someone!
