I think Khaleesi's question was more about whether or not the custom content shown on Sims in the gallery transfers over when you download it. The answer is no. This is not possible because all cc in the sims 4 is in package format, unlike the sims 3 which had package and sims3pack. You have to have the packages installed in your mod folder for them to show up on a downloaded Sim. People will probably figure out how to transfer cc with created sims but for right now it has not yet been discovered.
