Black screen during launch of game

After the EA logo shows up and it loads a little it right to a black screen and does nothing. I can still hear the music playing that is all. I have no cc in my game. I uninstalled the game put it back still nothing, also did the same to the EA app still doing the same thing. All the drivers on my PC are up to date also.

G-Shock1108 If removing the Mods folder fixed your issue, then you had outdated mods. Some mods that were updated for the March patch were solving this problem. Did you never have mods/cc or remove them ? Please pick a thread tag for that.

Does no cc include no mods as in your mods folder is empty ?

Any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.

Your Computer's DxDiag?

Press Windows-Key + R

Type: DxDiag

Click on Save all Information.

Attach the Text File to your post

I guess what my problem was that I was looking in the wrong location when I deleted my mods folder when I went to the documents/sims 4 and I deleted that mods folder from there then the game started working idk why I have two locations for the game

What was the other location ? The game itself is installed in program files but that shouldn't have a mods folder.

mine is in program files but that is where the mods folder is. is it supposed to be in a different location

but to fix the problem i took the mods folder out of the Documents folder to get to sims 4
