What kind of CC do you prefer- Alpha or Maxis Match? I tend to prefer maxis match

I don't use cc, and while I certainly wouldn't go as far as calling alpha hair garbage, it looks really stiff and unreal most of the time.
A lot of the time it doesn't have the fullness of TS4 style hair or looks like a weird, crispy but shiny plastic helmet.
It doesn't fit with the artstyle of the rest of the game and it certainly doesn't look more realistic, to me it always feels sorta "cheap" I guess. Like, I cringe when I see it in screenshots because it doesn't match with the games' and my personal aesthetics.
