custom content not loaded in game

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.335.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All apart from werewolves, Journey to Batuu, Realm of Magic, vampires and Paranormal
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have done the 50/50 method to eliminate broken CC. Yet there seems to something else causing the issue.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I load the game I toggled on Enable custom content and mods, and Script mods allowed in game options. When the game opens, none of my CC is showing in game. I have visited CAS and all the CC is available. Yet its not loaded on to any Sims
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my CC showing and enabled on my Sims

Please describe the patch or change you made. After updating the game to the new version above, I first encountered a problem with the simology panel. I managed to sort that problem out by removing an outdated mod. I have made two clean installs and now I can't get the CC to show up. I have had this problem before and solved it by launching the game again. Yet it doesn't see to work.
Thanks for your reply, yes I ended up using a previous save file in the end. I only lost three days game play. It took a couple of days updating things after the recent patch. So I was getting into a muddle with it all.
