~Custom Content Question~

Question

So out of curiosity-I have used CC in builds.
I was wondering when someone downloads the build off the gallery- do they see Custom Content that I used?

Or do they have to have the exact CC in their mods folder to see what I used? & if they dont, when they download, do those items not load?

If someone could kindly clarify that for me

They see that you used CC but not which CC items. You would need to put a link in the description where you detail the CC used.
Also to even see your post in gallery they would need to click on the option to display CC content.

Yes I understand about the CC option in the gallery.So to answer my question, the build will not load with the CC, unless they have to have it downloaded as well?Thank you ^_^

If they do not own the cc then it wont be in their game, so when they place the lot, then the items will either be missing or replaced by the actual game item used to create the cc item. That is why you should share links to cc used so that simmers can decide to get it or not :)
