Custom traits broken in relationship inspector

Question

Custom traits will not show up in the Traits list in the relationship inspector after learning them. Even affects the example Novelist trait!
I've tested this with no other mods installed but the aforementioned Novelist trait.
Can anyone else confirm?

When you learn them the normal way, they show up in the wall notification, but not in the relationship tracker.
That would indicate, to me at least, that they're being learned appropriately, but not displayed properly.
