Disappearing Custom Careers/After-School Activities if Royalty EP installed
Careers are disappearing after the "noble" tag was created and the Royalty and Legacy pack was released. This seems to particularly affect modded careers, such as the ones by Midnitetech and KiaraSims4Mods. Sims will have a career one moment, and then the sim will suddenly be unemployed. This happens in real time while the sim is being actively played. Sometimes it appears to be triggered by the sim traveling to a different lot and sometimes it happens completely randomly. This happens whether or not the sim has the noble tag. In fact, in most cases where this has occurred in my saves, the noble tag was not present.

Many (not all) custom career mods, school/education mods (school career), custom after-school activities, and complex mods that include careers are incompatible with Royalty & Legacy after patch 1.122.
The same set of mods that, for patch 1.121 in February, broke the SimPicker and that were not themselves updated for this problem are now, based on testing, presumed broken if Royalty & Legacy is installed.
- Symptoms: A known symptom is that the career (etc.) is dropped when another Sim in the household travels within the neighbourhood and then control is switched to the custom-career Sim or another Sim with them who didn’t travel. No last exception error is produced.
- Workaround: There is none. Installing Lot 51 Core Library does not bandage over this issue. Creators will need to update their mods to resolve this. Creators in the Creator Musings Discord have discussed how to do this.
