- MoridhusNew SpectatorI think you can do that with MC Command Center.
- Kita5399New SpectatorI like realism in game, but I’m not sure about wanting to see it with that. I always click the bassinet or send them to the hospital immediately. Of course for me it’s due to the fact mine lasted 27 hours with my first, and I’m trying to spare my Sims. I could see how it might be good for story telling though.
- Lucy_HenleyNew SpectatorYeah, I usually click the bassinet. Three-hour labour does seem rather short (although some people do give birth very fast), but then a pregnancy is only three game days. So a 12 hour labour would be more realistic if pregnancy was longer. I'm not sure if a longer pregnancy can be done with MCCC, I don't mess with my MCCC settings much.

With MCCC you can pause a pregnancy, allowing you to make each phase as long as you’d like. It’s a great feature if you play on a rotation and don’t want to miss anything. - GalacticGalSeasoned Ace

I don't like how labor is only three hours. It's just not realistic! Babies can take days to be born. I would want 12-hour labor honestly. Does anyone know of a mod that does this?
Ah, while three hours is mostly unrealistic, my very own mother had all three of us in just three hours! I have a friend, too, in RL who had her kids in twenty minutes. Me? My first baby took a good six hours of labor (I may have labored longer than that while sleeping) but from the time I knew I was in labor, it was just shy of six hours. Taking days to be born is an anomaly. Active labor going on for more than 33 hours, is something the doctor should NOT allow. Women get quite worn out and can die! Clearly there is something wrong if the labor doesn't progress. My own sister had to have an emergency C-Section. Otherwise the days taking to be born can be a lot of Braxton-hicks (false labor) that works its way into the real deal.
MCCC is probably your best bet. - Goth583New TravelerI make my sim's pregnancies last 9 days with MCCC and you can stop your sim from delivering by deleting the bassinet when it's placed or keeping your sim from going to it, which can be done without MCCC. My pet peeve with TS4 is the lack of morning sickness, as it seems to have almost disappeared with updates to the game. I had sims in the past who would get a little sick and others who would have morning sickness throughout their pregnancy.
- bshag4lvSeasoned ScoutI think LittleMsSam has a longer preggers mod.
@Goth583, I am surprised when one of my pregnant sims isn't sick, at least the first trimester. :D
