Door issues

Whenever I try to set a door as the front door, it’ll change for a few minutes ( or maybe it’s when I enter build or leave that household) either way, it won’t stay as the front door. Eventually I moved the house to a different lot so I could make it face the right side of the road so I didn’t need to set it. Now I made a big of a small unit on the lot for my butler, and I tried using the option “lock for everyone but butler” and the same thing is happening. It won’t actually work. It keeps going back to unlocked for everyone just like when I tried to set the front door option
