Dream home Decorator

I downloaded the Dream Home Decorator pack, and my original issue was that I couldn't see what the clients wanted. No matter how many times I interacted with them using the interior decorator prompts, I didn't have the little question marks on the career panel. I moved all my mods into a different folder, and I also deleted the localthumbcache and now my sim is stuck at the gig. I don't have an option to go home unless going through the map, and I can't choose any new gigs at all.
