Error Code 102:d5a74c31

Mostly the same issue:

I am having the same, issue, but I am unable to download any mods, that are not from Curse forge for safety, and I am less likely to get a virus. I don't know what to do. A few days after this issue, started, my game created a save itself, it has a household with pets in it, even though I have no mods that add pets, or a pack with pets. (I have no packs at all, and I am heavy modded) I tried disabling mods. I think my game might be corrupted. This is happening in all saves. Even old ones, and in brand new ones. I don't know what to do.

I need to figure out which mod, though, went through mods, have just a few possiblities

  • When trying to open a game save it will not open and a game error code appears saying

The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:d5a74c31:7574b0e7. It is recommended that you relaunch the game.

But when I tried that, It still did not work, and gave me the same issue.

I hope this can be fixed, because I am unable to play the game....

  • When I go to play my household it just says "The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:d5a74c31:7574b0e7. It is recommended that you restart the game "  i restarted my computer, "repaired" the game and relaunched, and it still had the error.

Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
    • Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
      • Delete the ones you have
      • Trigger the error again
      • Check if new ones are created
      • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

  • My issue started out with getting error notifications for S4MP when loading into a game, despite having uninstalled S4MP, and being unable to delete saves created while using S4MP. I ignored the issue for as long as I could, but eventually I endeavored to fix it. I tried repairing my game through the EA app, tried uninstalling my game (including all packs) and reinstalled, expecting it to be a fresh game, but everything reinstalled that I had before. So then I tried clearing cache and deleting every trace of S4MP still on my computer. This did fix the S4MP error popups, but I still had saves I couldn't delete. However, I decided this was good enough and proceeded to play as normal. I created a new save, made a new sim, moved her onto a lot and got an error stating the game failed to load (102:d5a74c31:7574b0e7). I retried a few times and got the same result, so then I deleted some saves that I could part with (made apart from S4MP), deleted some mods I could part with, repaired the game, and restarted my computer. I tried to give my sim a home once again, and it actually worked. Success. However, after I finished furnishing her new home and went to the world view, I realized not a single home was occupied other than hers. In any map. And looking back, I think it had been that way (sort of) since I created the save, because it would show certain lots as unavailable (as if someone lived there), but didn't show the occupant as it normally would. I actually thought it may be a weird update that they no longer preview who occupies a lot. I loaded a previous save and that world had occupants, so I assumed it was something wrong with the newest save I created. I decided to stick to my old one that I knew was fine - until today when I backed out of a house I was working on and the entire population was raptured. At this point, I think I'll have to figure out how to completely reset my game to have a chance of fixing it.

Rachelas11 Let's get you started with a clean setup to make sure that your issue isn't caused by mods.

    1. Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.
    2. Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)
    3. Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save. Reset your Options.
    4. Start with New to test if your issue recurs in a new game.
