error code: 132:2f1962c8:ced30bd2

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.62.67.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When trying to play the sim
What happens when the bug occurs? Can not play the sim
What do you expect to see? Able to play the sim like ususa;
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Update and expansion

Please help. I can not play my sim because of error code: 132:2f1962c8:ced30bd2. Every time I clicked my sim to play, it loads for some time and then the error code appeared. it told me to relaunch the game, however, no matter how many times I relaunch it, it won't solved. please help me with this.

    HI @nathgisela 

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Put back just save game and try again. If it works, you can start putting other stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    @crinrict Im also having this problem it's just that the numbers instead are 132:2f1962c8:406033c9 and I have tried this and many other things and it wont work i remove mods and cc, i uninstall and reinstall and factory reset and repair it just won't work

    @chase70072 also the only reason i posted/ replyed on this one was because it's the closes thing to my problem along with the numbers

    @chase70072 Did you try renaming your user folder and just putting your save back ? If you still have the error that way, would you mind sending me your save ? Instructions in my signature

    @crinrict ok thanks ill send them but just one last thing do you want me to send all my saves or just one of them is fine because all my saves have the same issue
