expansion pack conflicting with mods

please help. I recently downloaded the expansion pack get together with paranormal stuff and outdoor retreat on origin. When I tried to access the clothes from the packs they all showed up as red and white with question marks all over and the world has pictures of llamas where the houses is supposed to be, and the entire world is all blue with question marks. I have a whole bunch of mods in my game so I took the folder out thinking that was the problem but nope. I tried everything, and when nothing worked I tried reinstalling origin and the sims and restarting everything and it worked, the worlds and everything was back to normal. But when I added my saves and all my mods into the new folders it went back. So I tried adding one mod I thought was to be the problem into the folder and it worked, and my saved because I thought that was the problem but neither of that was the problem. So I added more custom content to the mods folder and it went back to the way it was before with all the question marks and glitches. The mods I’m using shouldn’t be causing any problems, most of them are just clothes and accessories and stuff like that and I need them all to play I can’t play without my custom content and mods. Please help, this is very stressful and I paid a lot for the pack nothing helped so far I need a solution.
