Hi!
Exact same thing is happening to me! I’ve tried everything that the commenters said and I got to the conclusion that my save is broken. I’ve checked my mods one by one, none of them seemed to be the issue. Not only that, if I start a new game, I don’t have this issue and everything runs perfectly.I’ve tried moving them, because sometimes the lot will bug your save, but still the same. Maybe its just that its too big of a save and it’s bugging? It’s my 7th generation, been playing on the same file since 2022 and I really don’t want to discard it or start over… I’m a long time player (since 2017) and I’ve known how to overcome all bugs or broken saves until now…I really don’t know what to do and it really breaks my heart, I’m emotionally tied to this legacy!😭
@zeddira Try this:
- Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
- Launch Sims 4 so it creates a fresh user folder.
- Exit and then copy your old save files from your old folder into the newly created one
- Launch Sims 4 and see if this has solved your issue
