Eyelashes Not Showing Up In-Game?

So it turns out my game is actually up to date. It's not just the Kijiko eyelashes, it is also mods in general. All day I've been following tutorials on how to download mods but it's just not working! I've been doing exactly what they've said. :(

I am sorry that you are having these issues @abcampo . Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop. Launch the game, and a new mods folder will be generated in the sims 4 folder.. Exit the game. Then put your mods/cc from the old mods folder into the newly generated mods folder and test to see if the issues remain. Make sure that there is only one resource.cfg file in the folder
Also make sure that a new mods folder has been generated.

Hi, I did exactly that and I moved everything back into the new folder that Sims 4 created. When i put everything back, my computer would not let me open the game because there is a corrupted file. (I also made sure that there was only 1 resource file. What should I do?

Repairing the game may help @abcampo . To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair
It may also be that you have broken mod/cc.
Try moving your whole mods folder to the desktop again.
Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one item or batch in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.

Thanks so much but I guess I'll just delete all my cc. I really don't feel like having to go through everything that I have just to find 1 file. I guess the problem is solved, kind of.

Try repairing the game also, like I suggested, in case that helps the issue @abcampo. I had edited into the post that suggestion and you may not have seen it.

I repaired the game through Origin but it is still not working! i'll try to do batches.

My computer told me what file needs to be removed, so I found it and deleted it. When i finally deleted what as said to be the "corrupted file", my computer just kept telling me to delete it (even though I already did.) I've been looking over every single file I have in my computer and it's not there anymore because I deleted it, so I don't know how to get my computer to realize that.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder, starting a new save game file, and testing to see if the issues remain,To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then see if you can load the game. If you can load the game, a new sims 4 folder will be generated.
Start a new game and test to see if there are issues is in that new save game.
Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder.
Then test loading the game again.

I am sorry that you are having issues with that cc item :( It may perhaps been broken by a game patch and not been updated. It may be best to be in touch with the cc creator.
