fabricated objects not showing in household inventory

Whenever I craft new objects on the fabrication station they don't appear in the household inventory. They aren't gone from it, as I can select them at the recyclng station. They are simply invisible...

I've had this same problem. My items would not appear in household or sim inventory. When i got fed up trying, i decided to access the items through the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat. When i entered the cheat, all my items i made were in the household inventory! So, if you didn't manage to find your fabricated items in the household or sim inventory, press ctrl + shift + c and then type bb.showhiddenobjects.

@megasourusrex, I put some fruit trees in my household inventory in preparation to move and they disappeared. I'd also "lost" some fabricated desk lamps immediately upon making them, plus I had some mystery items in my inventory that were only visible to me when I would recycle items with the recycler. I have the Better BuildBuy mod, so after reading your post, I turned on "Live Edit" and all of these invisible items reappeared in my inventory! I can't thank you enough. This workaround needs more visibility. The disappearing fabricated items problem has been going on for years...
